So, all last week Jake told me about the upcoming hurricane. Of course I didn't take him seriously until Friday, two days before it was to hit. I fled to the stores like EVERYONE else in NYC, bought over priced flash lights, lots of pretty candles(i mean we definitely needed them), and beautiful ingredients from Whole Foods. While in the midst of the frenzy my anxiety began to rise and I felt a bit freaked out.
SOLUTION: BUY FLOWERS
When I returned home with all our beautiful food and flowers I began to arrange. I only spent 16.oo dollars and ended up with 7 mini arrangements, which lasted through the storm. They kept us cheery and everything seemed alright.
BTW: FLOWERS ARE MINI ZINNIAS AND SWEETHEART ROSES

Love this. I almost bought a huge (overpriced) bouquet as I was getting ready for the storm. Wished I had. I was thinking that if I lost power they would wilt pretty quickly. Zinnias are the best go-to flower, but I can't always find them up here. Hey we have to reschedule your visit! What are you doing Labor Day?
