Well, S had a few spills this last weekend and ended up with an infection in her leg, poor monkey. It is terrible to see her in pain plus I thought isn't this what happens to kids in third world countries and then end up in bigger trouble. I do have to say S is particularly brave. She enjoyed her little trip to the ER and is very good patient.
I felt especially terrible for the girl today too because her class released their butterflies today and she could not go because she could not walk to the park. The teacher really wanted her to be able to walk.
When she saw the kids outside she was really upset. i took her out to wave at her friends, but it was a little to late. Thankfully the moms were all out there and gave her lots of attention, we even took her out for a latte, she had an Italian Soda. Italian soda isn't that bad, right???? SOmeone is now feeling much better, I think the i touch, chicle, and lots of attention has healing powers. Hopefully she will be back to school tomorrow.
Poor Sophia! I hope she's on the mend!
