Lent, Jesus, and other things

First off, we all woke up way to early today 6:00 am. For whatever reason I woke with a bee in my bonnet to get things organized for Lent and the ladies of our parish. Within an hour I had a study scheduled, brunch ideas scribbled down, and emails sent out getting ready for Lent, which is not until March 9Th, long off. I think I am just in expectation, that is really what Lent is always about for me. Reminding me of the hope and promises we have of Christ and his perfect will in our lives. I think that the 6 am start really had been hoping for rest and peace. I know after dropping S off and getting H down to a nap I was in desperate need of some R & R.
