Wedding Planning

As one who is married and therefore went through the entire wedding process I have a few words of advice if your heading down the aisle. Now when I was getting married I met with my florist once!!! We spoke briefly about what I wanted and that was it. The process was over.

Well, I think that when it comes to flowers the process should be more engaging. That is to say the bride should be part of the vision. So, I thought of questions one should ask when planning any event with flowers(certainly not just in the case of wedding events).

1. What is in season(you can get more for your buck)?
2. What are your florist's fav colors and types of flowers(that will give you a very good idea which direction they will head)?
3. How does their vision with your event connect with their floral point of view?

Just a few thoughts for anyone planning an event that includes flowers.
